This paper consists of two sections: A and B. Answer three questions, Section A is compulsory and choose two questions from section B. All questions carry equal marks. Answer all the questions in your answer booklet.

1. Akwasi is going through a tough time at school and feels very stressed and anxious. He has heard from some friends that taking certain substances or using unprescribed medication can help him feel better temporarily. Akwasi is seeking your advice as a friend:
(a) Explain to Akwasi four reasons for which he should not engage in self-medication. [8 marks]
(b) In your opinion, what four factors may cause a person like Akwasi to consider self-medication? 4 marks
(c). Identify any four positive and healthy things Akwasi can do to cope with his stress instead. 8 marks

2. Kwame Sarpong is a 45-year-old civil servant who has worked at the same government department for fifteen years.
